why on earth would two sim schools ever be in a battle with each other??? isn't there a way to program around that?

It would create more of a sense of realism if the sims battled each other, but I agree, sim recruiting is terrible.

That makes teams less desirable for human owners.

I think they should have programmed certain sims with certain recruiting styles or "personalities", and those sim coaches would go after certain players who more closely resembled their styles. At least they could base it on going after certain recruits and attributes on the offense and defense being run.

Could it be that Tacokisses (MSUB's human coach last season) was on him last recruiting and is just a hold over

sims do not jump on the same recruit when they recruit in that first cycle, strictly speaking. there must be some loophole, like milwood's suggestion, where they don't put action in at the same time, but a recruit considers a school for another reason. the player is a juco 3, so maybe MSUB signed them last year, and they went juco instead of showing up? and then the sims didn't take into account that he was already considering someone?

i think the intention is for this not to be able to happen, so it might be worth sending it in just to make sure CS realizes its possible. theres a good chance they already know, but you never know, it only takes them 1 minute to read a quick note about it.

The name rings a bell but I definitely didn't sign him. I probably scouted him though if that would have any carryover.
