I usually don't scout players (states) prior to the rollover to the new season because i usually dont have the money to do so. This year was different so i'm looking at a few guy where their number of years remaining could be a deal breaker. I know the new recruits are generated at the beginning of the current year and don't change going into the next year for recruiting purposes.
Question is for the guys who were jucos and ineligibles, do their remaining years of eligibility reduce 1 year when the end of the season rolls over into recruiting. also do the ineligible tags remain ineligible after the rollover.
Ex. we are currently still in the NT for Tark, Player A right now shows 2 years eligible as a juco, player B shows 4 years and is ineligible. Will these players stil be at 2 and 4 years of eligibility when recruiting begins. second, will player B still be ineligible.
The reason I ask about the ineligible status is because I know some ineligibles do not stay with the school who signed them and go Juco (but I believe they just become a 3 year juco for the following recruiting cycle). confirmation?
