Looks like the biggest difference is Huntsville. Without a strong PG or C, they will struggle more. There is no true rebounding beast, unless Auzenne moves over, but he can't do it alone. Not enough depth. Everyone else looks about the same to me, I do have AT and LM flipped.

I finally got around to doing my recruit evaluations. I decided to post the grades here, thanks reinsel for creating a forum. I've just been doing this in the comment boxes.

This year my evaluations are more subjective than ever, due to potential. I am still grading recruits based on my old method, with the exception of WE reduced in value now. Since I don't have access to each teams potential, this creates much more oppurtunity for low graded players to prove me wrong, or highly graded players to be duds. As always, recruits are graded on a curve with the best recruit since I started tracking being 100%.

Maybe that will help adjust some of the numbers in the future with potential included. Henderson St.'s recruits don't look like much, but they should like pretty strong by the end of the year.
1/9/2009 4:33 PM
Thanks Barret! That will be helpful when I do my recruit review including potential.
1/11/2009 7:51 PM
Shinkle should be pretty solid next year if ath/Reb/def/blk/lp all increase 25 points this year.

For what it's worth here are my team and player ratings prior to the start of conference play.

The "Raw" number consists of the basic player ratings and FT. The ratings are assuming a generic O/D and certain players easily could have more/less value in the O/D that their team runs.

The "Adjusted" number take into effect the player IQ and weighs the team average based on playing time.

We are pretty similar OW. The top 4 in the South are very very similar. And Christian Brothers & Arkansas Tech seem pretty interchangeable.
1/14/2009 6:50 PM
Is 86 the cutoff or were you just being nice to include a 3rd Henderson St. player?
