Maybe the network guys could setup 10 generic accounts with no real access to anything except a VPN. We could log in to a terminal server (assuming you guys have them) and play individual sessions.
My guess is that they are just VERY protective of the network you guys have, and I don't blame them. My solution would actually work, but would take a little time to setup.
If you want to test it and figure out what is causing it, I can at least tell you when it crashes for me:
1. If I make a double-switch. For example, I put in Mickey Mantle to hit for the pitcher (does not seem to matter inning). I then want to keep Mantle in the game, so I sub my CF for the pitcher, and then put Mantle in CF. I have had it crash a lot when I make these sorts of moves.
2. When someone jumps in and out of the game a bunch of times. That is where the idea of crashing games on purpose comes from....it seems to work sometimes.
3. If I put 2 ph's in for the same spot. Example would be that I put Cedeno in to hit because a y is pitching. The other guy counters by putting a right handed pitcher in, SO I counter by putting in a y bat.....it crashes a lot in these situations too.
Off topic a bit, when the games 'freeze', i can hit the blue bar at the top (see image below) and the game picks up immediately. That seems like a JAVA issue to me, but I couldn't say for sure.
