Ok y'all here it is....the progressive you've all been waiting for!

Welcome back to the 80's!...Hair Bands, Pac Man, Fame!, Garbage Pail Kids, The Breakfast Club are all in fashion. (and steroids is in its infancy!)

League Rules:

We will start in 1984!

50 games live (Failure to meet minimum will drop you to bottom of draft)

24 teams
18 keepers/meaning you cut 7 players each season
2 Injured Reserve spots will be available(but at a cost)
NO DH
AAA will be available (6-2 below average)
Alignment will be as close as possible to actual life.
Initial draft will be random snake style 1-24, 24-1
Draft picks in the initial player draft can be traded
Draft picks may be traded up to one season in advance after entering the league, (IE in the 81 season you may trade only 82 picks NO 83 or beyond)
Team names must have the State or City in which your stadium is based.
When a team moves to a new Stadium you will do the same.
Trade deadline, all-star break/120 games played. Same as keeper deadline. Once your keepers are submitted, no more trading is allowed by your team, period.



The Following drafts

-Next seasons draft order will be determined by the total salary of your next seasons 18 keepers…what this means and it has worked out very well in the progressive league that I run is that tanking or any other way to manipulate a calculated system won’t do you/anyone a bit of good, you’re here to win and it makes everyone compete
-Your Keeper list for the next season will be submitted via sitemail to me with your 18 keepers(salary included) at the all-star break (or gm 120 played), my keepers will be sent once the first two owners have sent me theirs. Once I have all 24 keeper lists I post the results in our private forum on a spreadsheet so there are no secrets.
-If you are putting a player on Injured Reserve you will be charged ½ that players next wis season salary. This rule has its benefits and its disadvantages.
-You won't find a draft order more fair than this one. (Thanks to Fishnasty for this draft order!)

Please do not consider joining this league if you cannot commit to multiple seasons!

Why '84? And do you pick a stadium on sign-up or later?
