There has been some interest in several threads about taking over a DII world and seeing if we can fill it and make it the most competetive Division/world there is.

I have seen several say they would be interested but haven't noticed a thread devoted to getting it going.

If your interested in playing post to this thread. We can start a list and see if there's enough interest to make this a fun idea or if it's a bust.

I personally would prefer a 1/day world as opposed to turbo.

i think we should do it. i'd be up for it, preference to 2 a day but for a mega-bowl i'd play anywhere. with all the coaches you'd think we could have a 1 a day and a 2 day, but its probably best to just go with 1 world. how do we pick though? and how do we get people to go along with it? everybody has a world or worlds they would rather play in, so its tough to decide.

Everyone has to give alittle we just take the most open I guess. will they let me transfer my existing team to another world? ALthough I may not qualify as a good d2 coach?

no, you (like me and many others) will have to start from d3 in that world. obviously it gives a leg up to some but there is no way around that it seems, and after 5 or 10 seasons that advantage is pretty much neutralized.

They wont let you transfer, but you could get d-2 in one season... Im in Id say fill Naismith... It is in fact WORlD 1

I would do it in a 2 a day world. Maybe there should be separate threads for 1 a day and 2 a day?

Guys give us the open sim coached teams available in the other worlds. and Zags will post it up and we can pick one. I'll make a Turbo DII and this will be the 1-day Mega-Bowl.

i say forget about picking the world just yet. get the list going. if we can get over 50 coaches lets do it.

after we get enough coaches we then collectively select the world. research it. check with coaches that already play in there. we want the world that is already strong and competitive. shoot, get world's to solicit US. this is a great idea, but maximum participation is key.

we're slowly getting something like this going in DIII wooden. started with one conference, now its growing to the world. i think wooden DIII is the toughest and most competitive around. But its no where like IBA was back in the day. Hopefully we can get it there.

anyway, great idea, hope it materializes.

I'm in D2 in Naismith, Wooden, Iba, and Allen and would join this, but I'd consider joining another world for it. My brother is in Rupp and said that D2 there is fairly competitive.
