Is the Mass Exodus over? Topic

I'm wondering if people have still been cutting back on teams or dropping the game as seemed to be the trend the last couple of months.

I for one find the game has grown stale. Its not a complaint directed at the site as I think they've done a much better job since the change over.

With football starting again and all the "things" that come along with it my interest has sorta shifted.

I think I'm going to be scaling back to two teams and maybe even one after previously having a high of 6 at one point. After the season I'll reevaluate and maybe pick some teams up after the rollout.

Was just curious as to the general community mood?

I think the promise of an "engine overhaul" has a lot of people intrigued and willing to stick around to see it. If it makes the game worse or generally doesn't change much, I think that will provoke another mass exodus.

I'm in a holding pattern.

I am picking up teams. I will likely pick up a team in wooden next, but may drop rupp and or iba in return.

I have three teams-- two in DI and one in DII.

I'm definitely keeping the DI teams. Even though the game results still sometimes don't make any sense, I'm interested to see the results of the engine overhaul that is supposed to be coming up.

I may drop the DII team. It was a DIII team in a conference that I had been in a long-time. It was a great conference, but the membership had eroded over time. Also, the changes to DIII brought by potential and FSS just made it less fun. I think that both are great in DI, but just don't work well at DIII. Anyway, I moved up to DII with hopes of moving up to DI soon. If not, I'll probably drop that one.

This describes my situation. I am at Maryland in Smith for the next hundred years or so, but I am only staying at Arizona in Rupp right now because I don't want to give up a high-prestige job until after I see what the new engine is like.

Then again, if I keep up my recent level of "success" at Arizona, sticking around might not be an option!

I have dropped a few and officially on the fence for at least one more. Id like to see the engine overhaul, although I would be lying if I said I am sure they'll get it right.

One odd change ive seen in CS, before they'd argue with me and give me all types of lame stats. The last ticket I sent they pretty much agree'd with me and said they hope they new engine will correct the problem

I am 95% dropping my DIII team after this season and only keeping my DI team. No question, the changes did not impact DI as strongly as DIII, but it is much more my own ineptness at that level that is chasing me away from it, despite a great group of conference coaches.

I have my DI team in Phelan, I just picked up a DII team in Iba, and if I could I would pick up a DI team in Smith but I cant (my last season was in DI yet im not qualified for any DI jobs).

I love this game, just as much I always have (if not more)

I will never voluntarily quit playing HD.

I've dropped all my BCS schools and down to just this squad and U of Detroit, where I went to school. Don't see picking any teams up unless the game gets fun again. What a statement...why do I even keep these?

I've added two teams since potential started
