What happens to free agents-to-be whose injuries extend past the free agent signing period of their FA year? Are they still signable?

i believe so, i signed a MiL free agent this past offseason in OCD world who was injured for another 60 or so days...

Just signed Alejandro Baerga in Ron Cey. He tore up his knee way late in S12 and will spend most of S13 on the DL recovering.
