Totally OT, perhaps even off-gender here, but -- I'm a writer/consultant for a new medical show on NBC that premieres Wednesday night at 8:00; it's called Mercy, and it's actually pretty good. Truth is, it's aimed more at women, but if you have a wife, girlfriend, Neilsen box, or some free time and an appreciation of good sarcasm and/or young nurses, I thoroughly encourage giving it a chance. Thanks -- I appreciate it.

Commerical over.

You're that desperate for ratings that you'd post here in the hopes of getting a couple guys to watch?

I heard a critic say that 'Mercy' was one of only two new shows that impressed him .

Good luck!

I've read a lot of positive buzz about that show. Adding Kate Mulgrew is a good move and I've always liked Delroy Lindo. Taylor Schilling is stunning and does well in a lead role. Congrats on being involved with this and keep feeding the Leeches.

I am always amazed at the variety of backgrounds of the users here on WIS. Jeff is an MD and author. Al is a dentist. There are lawyers, college professors, HS teachers, brewmasters, truckers, construction workers, accountants, students, housewives, retirees, military personnel, and of course a few statistitions and programmers. It is fun interacting with such an ecclectic variety of sports fans.

Or maybe he's just proud of being part of something far greater than you will ever accomplish and he wanted to share it with the HD community. If you don't want to read an "OT" thread, don't click on it.

Congrats on the show jeff.
