I know this has been addressed before, but it seems like everytime I read it I can never log it in my memory. What is the exact amount of games a player must play at the minor league level to have that season count as a MiL year and not an ML year, thus buying time until the player is eligible for arb. Thanks.

Twenty HBD days.

Good rule of thumb, so you don't have to count days (because some people here are courting trouble when they run out of fingers and toes):

If your minor league season starts on a Monday morning with the AM cycle, do your promotions the following Monday after the AM cycle.

That ends up being 23 days or so, which is safe.

20 minor league days. I've done it after the 20th minor league day (which is after the 20th ML day, since the MiL season starts after the ML season) and been fine.

Beautiful, thanks guys. For some reason I thought it was more than that.
