pitchers and bunting Topic

It seems like more often than not, when my pitchers try to bunt the runner over, the defense just gets the out at 2nd base. It's pretty annoying and I feel like this happens more often than in real life. Am I the only one who sees this? My starting pitchers bunt ratings range from 40-80. I'm considering just lowering the sacrifice bunt rating from 2 to 1 and letting them swing away.

You only notice when it fails?

How's the baserunning on the guy going to second? Speed? Is the Inf. in?

I have found that pitchers rarely succeed in sacrifices if the game is within 3 runs. So I let them hit away and had a pitcher win a silver slugger this year. Often their at-bat doesn't result in anything good but something positive happens more often then when they try to bunt.

I've noticed that it fails more often than it succeeds.

This is what I'm thinking. If the defense has the infield in, which is more likely in a close game, maybe getting the lead out on a sacrifice attempt is too easy to get.
