Why aren't more coaches copying what this guy is doing? This is the coach that had 5 pre-season 1st team All-Americans last season. Just cut down the nets this year with only 1 senior. His third NT championship in Naismith. Won his first in his first season when the school was C+ prestige.

Wow hes been at the school for 8 seasons and has been in the title game in 5 of them winning 3. Thats just crazy.

Even more crazy before arrive at Iowa St he had a total of 5 NT and 4 PI appearances total from seasons 2-31. Talk about a late bloomer.

In that same world, mean27's LSU team has been to the Final 4, for four straight seasons with 5 straight elite 8's. Clearly a few guys have figured something out.

How about this for late blooming -- in Smith, he's been at Drake forever. Seasons 9-34, made 3 NTs (20, 33, 34). The last 4 seasons (35-38) -- Elite 8, Final 4, Elite 8, Sweet 16.

Maybe he recently sold his soul?

clone77 is one of the best coaches in this game. because he does not post much (or ever?) i don't think he is as well known as some others around here, but he's definitely in the top 10 for me.
