Free agency vs. Arbitration Topic

If you have a player that has 5 years of ML experience and 10 years of pro experience, and he goes to rollover on the 40-man but in the minors, is he arb-eligible after the rollover? I think he would be, but if so, the arb report for next season is incorrect. I have noticed problems with the arb report before, but I wanted to check.

If the same player is removed from the 40-man then does he become a minor league free agent even though he has 5 years of ML experience?

question 1: if he has not gained a 6th year of ML experience he would go to arb again. If he has enough servuice time he would become a free agent.

question 2: my bet is he would be in the big league free agent pool, but either way he is a free agent.

Anyone not on the 40 with 6+ years of pro experience I believe goes to FA.

If they don't have 6 years ML experience, you don't get compensation for them.
