Been on the list twice...both times, the team started falling apart with about 20 games to go and got knocked out the playoffs in the 1st round. I'm starting to think that being on the list is a jinx. Those who have had teams finish the season on the list - how did they fare in the playoffs?

I've once had a team ranked #1 after a 48-13 start, they had a very average 2nd half finishing at 104-58 but still won the championship.

Boston - a 1993 single season progressive, #17 on the list - just got knocked out of a CS, 4-2. My great pitching - Appier, Darwin, and Avery for the playoffs - was destroyed in all four losses.

I was up there with a "BIG_KAHUNA!!!!1" all-hit no-pitch OL team. Knocked out in the first round.

For those who are interested, my team is up to a W16 and we are now #15 in the rankings.

I'm hoping to escape the top-25 jinx. The good news is the team I would play in the LCS will likely have 100+ wins too, so that particular jinx will be moot.
