Not sure if I like the arb demand being affected by performance. Doesn't that mean that some owners will hold a player out of the lineup to keep his demand down the next season?

between that change and the change to make FA demands match "market value", I think a developer chat would be very helpful. I think those are both potentially big changes and they are relatively vaguely described in the update post.

I like being able to see your record against individual coaches

We'll schedule a developer chat soon to discuss any of the changes that you guys have questions about.

The time and date are TBD, but should be soon.

I like the update a lot but I wish we didnt have to wait almost a month for it...

And that is an interesting question jvford, though I would think to lower his value that much he would have to sit him out most of the time, which in turn would hurt your own team.

Agreed.

But if you have an arb guy and your team pretty far out of contention at the All-Star break, doesn't this new update give you a major incentive to sit him?

Love the update.

Being able to directly control arb demands by sitting arb-elig players is just another weapon in the tanker's arsenal. The injury part of it I like, not so much the benching part.

I dont like the arb change, I see that as a tankers abuse tool.

Most of the other changes I like or neutral.

I'm fine with the arb change because that's more like how it works in real life. Yes people could hold guys out to lower arb demands but that's like saying "owners could just keep guys in the minors and never start their arb clock at all." Yes it's true that you can manipulate the system, but only at a severe disadvantage to yourself, so there doesn't seem to be much harm in it.

If you have a team that is going to only win 70ish games, how is it a severe disadvantage to yourself?
