but what about when you've been the leading bidder (because you have the 1 next to their name and no email saying you've been outbid yet) for more than one cycle?

should i assume someone else is bidding on the guy but hasn't offered enough to overtake my bid?

does anyone know how long that goes on for before the player decides to take your offer?

I think all players have varying windows of time that they will wait before signing. I think that window changes based on offers they are or are not getting. So yes I think someone signing right away likely got 0 other offers or 0 comparable offers, but I don't think that being #1 for multiple cycles means there are definitely other offers out there. There could be but it isn't certain. Maybe someone else can explain it better.
