Is there a limit on the number of freshman you can sign in a given year? I think it is 6 but can't remember. Can you sign 6 frosh and 1 upper classman?

The limit is 6 per class.

The limit is six players on your roster per class.

So if you have 6 openings and no FR you can sign 6 fr
If you have 7 openings and 0 fr you can sign 6 fr and 1 of any other class.
If you have 1 RS FR and 6 open 'ships you can only sign 5 fr and another class level guy.
