No pitch count experiment Topic

Due to an annoyance with my bullpen (and a fairly substantial lead in the division), I decided to experiment with my pitching staff. I set everybody's pitch count to "None" and set their pull ratings to 3 (for an Ace-caliber pitcher with 90+ stamina), 4 (for my 3 decent-to-good pitchers with 75-80 stamina) and 5 (for the two spot-starter/mop-up types).

It's been working pretty good. Only one or two times have they been in too long and got shelled and in 28 games I've had 11 games where the starter has pitched 8+ innings with 4 or less runs allowed.

The only downside seems to be that you need 6 starters to make it work and you need to manage pretty frequently. Sometimes a guy will need 5-7 days rest it's a 77 STA guy throwing 140 pitches and sometimes a guy is ready after only one or two days rest if he gets shelled in the 2nd.

Anybody else tried something like this?
