say a player has 45 speed and its rated as "high" for improvement......what can that max out to be?

45 with a high potential would finally end up something like 66 or more. Possibly alot more, depending.

With the high, its at least 21 points of improvement.

it's anywhere from about 20 and up. work ethic impacts spd of improvement, not how much.

If you did any scouting trips you can gauge whether he's regular high or really high. If anything in the scouting report is either in caps or is punctuated by stars, than you have a chance to see him go up 30-40.
