Courtesy of eastvanmungo, I’ve decided to bring his popular War of the Themes league over to the LIVE community. I’ve made some minor tweaks so please read on.
The way WOT works is that you assign a theme that you create to the owner that joined this league right before you, i.e. the 2nd owner to join gives me my theme, the 3rd owner to join gives the 2nd owner his theme, and so forth, until the last owner joins, gives a theme to the 23rd owner and gets a theme from me.
You can dole out any kind of theme you want... Alphabet Soup... Twist... Franchise... Tribute to the Beatles; etc. Be creative and have fun with your theme choices but, try to give your target owner a chance to go far if he puts in the work. One major point here:This is not a Screw your Neighbor type of league, every team should have a chance of winning the title. On that note I reserve the right as commissioner, to rule against a theme ( or require alterations) if I determine if it’s too difficult to create a competitive team. After you build your team based on the assigned theme, please site-mail your 25 man roster to both the owner who assigned you the theme and myself to verify.
