Well, the difference is 199 innings of mopup that ballantine has and sford doesn't. ballantine should be able to keep his "good" pitchers fresh while sford could fall into the fatigue spiral.
Frankly, I'm surprised people didn't draft more mopup guys. Adding one 25-30 inning mopup is not enough, in my opinion. I have five. So does ballantine. I like to use one guy to start AND another to relieve (in the same game). And it'll take some time to get those guys back to 100% so it's good to have at least 3-4 mopups on your roster.
