i always set my settings to very conservative and don't remember having anyone reject his initial demands and ask for more. Have I been lucky in my 26 seasons, has alzheimers set in or is this normal behavior?

Let me amend my previous answer. "Very conservative" means you will draft guys who are "openly signable". That includes slot money guys, but also includes "Looking to be drafted in the first round" if they're your first round pick and "Looking to be drafted in the first five rounds" if they're a first five round pick.

Slot money guys sign right away when you meet their demands. The other two examples may or may not come back and ask for more.

What is the signability for your guy, and where did you draft him (what round)?

I just had one of those "first five round" guys as my first pick and he hasn't signed. Hopefully he won't ask for more money because I don't have it. I also had settings at very conservative. I wasn't aware until now that those guys would show up on very conservative. I hope he doesn't ask for more.
