Player caps out lower than he started? Topic

My first real WTF with potential.

Had a guy come in as a B- FT shooter, improved up to a B, in the offseason, he drops to a C+, then caps out at a C+ to start the next season???

Never had him below 12 minutes in FT.

WE is 48.

Is he really capped out, or are you just receiving a "Minutes woudl better be spent elsewhere" message? You could be receiving one of those while being right on the border between C+ and B- . . .although that doesn't explain the earlier improvement to B.

It does happen. The scouting evaluations usually are along the line of "not expecting any improvement", or "realistically I think he's tapped out".

I have a guy that started with a 20 rating, dropped to an 18 over a season, I started practicing in that category and got the maxed out emailed before he got back to 19.

I had a Center who was a C- FT shooter last year.
This year he remains a D+ no matter how many FT practice minutes I give him.
