What is the procedure to start a new dynasty world.

I'd like to get involved with a world starting from scratch.

It doesn't happen.

I would recommend setting sail across the ocean on 3 ships and claiming a great discovery when you run into a giant already inhabited land mass.

As for new HBD worlds, I believe WIS has been known to consider starting them IF AND ONLY IF you have 32 owners (not 32 aliases) that all agree to a multi-season commitment. However, I have found that other than the most tarded-up public leagues, joining an existing league is not much different then joining a new one - the only difference being with a new world you dont get to peek into the box to see what you have before you open it.

For Metropolis, which I think is the most recent World created, we also had to have a specific admin-set mix of owners new to HBD (most of whom came over from simleagues) and veterans.

and we had to all agree to commit to at least 3 seasons.

New worlds are overrated. Not every team is created equally and you're just as likely to get stuck with stupid awful contracts that the game assigned to your franchise.

There are plenty of open teams in existing worlds that aren't complete messes, I suggest you try out one of those rather than be stuck on having a new world.

As others have eluded to a new world isn't a clean slate that doesn't have it's own set of blemishes. While it is true there have been no previous owners you only get to choose your location and team name before the computer assigns you a team. The team you receive may have a full complement of bad contracts, players past their prime, barren MiL system or any of the other problems you would find when joining an existing world. So joining a new world does present the opportunity to be the 1st owner of a team but that is all that is guaranteed or different from the worlds that already exist.

Start a thread in the Classifieds saying you are a new guy looking for a world to start in I'm sure someone will come to you and offer you a spot.

Or just join the public world with the lowest turn over (owners not coming back) from the worlds most recent season.
