When facing a fullcout press defense what type of distro do you use to fight the pressure?

I like to leave it the same meaning guards more and up my 3's

I don't have a good answer but does anybody set everything to zero? I've been tempted to do that thinking that in most cases I'd rather the sim choose who takes an open shot versus having my distribution forcing a different player to shoot over a doubleteam.

I try to bump up my distribution to good passers and have had it work sometimes. . . on the theory that when they get double teamed they might pass out of it,.

i personally would lean towards the good ball handlers more than passers. but, they tend to be the same guys anyway, so im not sure it matters.

most teams i set to 0 play horrendously. not that they play horrible every game, but the fluctuation is just ridiculous. i've found that 0 distro is a team by team kind of thing, not something you would alternate between. that is with not much experimentation so maybe i am totally off base. i've only ever stuck with 0 distro once, with a triangle/press team who i couldn't get up to par offensively, and it worked like a charm. but it was consistently good. so my take away was if you can't get your offense to gel, it might work, but its one or the other.

I've had success playing all 0s, but I find that you need to have a great SF to successfully pull it off. Whenever I play all 0s I find that SF taking a disproportionate amount of shots.

I'm trying it now on a DII triangle/man team that I can't get an offensive handle on. When I set the distro myself we lose big and when I set it to 0 the SF takes almost all the shots and we usually win.

Well, perhaps you shoudl try setting the distro yourself and giving the SF a huge distribution bump.

Yeah, maybe that's it. Give him the ball and the others some little tweaks, 2's or 3's depending, and see what happens. Be flexible, the man said. I'll try it.
