Should i move + or - when it comes to the press?
if you have a pretty fast team shouldnt they be able to recover quicker from the paint or the perimeter?

Negative, and yes.

Always depends on your opponent's strengths as well, as well as if you run Fastbreak offense with it.

What does running the FB have to do with it, grantduck?

Yeah i do run the fastbreak offense as well so what exactly do you mean by that?

my opinion, it depends on how well you rebound relative to your opponent
if you can keep up with them on the boards, then go with a plus to crate as many steals and FB as possible
if you area weak rebounding team, you may need to go with a minus etting to keep from getting clobbered on the boards.

and also, as usual, it has to do with your opponents shooting tendencies. if they are better in the paint, you may want to sag, if they shoot alot of threes, then you should consider a plus defense.

I think what GD is saying is that with a FB offense, you would really like to create alot of turnovers and so a Plus defense is what you would prefer.... if you can get away with it. and by that, i mean, can you play a plus defense and not get beat up on the boards and/or with your opponent's lowpost scoring? if the answer is yes, then you will likely want to try a plus defense, to create more stels and FB opportunities.

I was assuming GD was referring to the impact of fatigue and how effective your press would be late game. The more they have to swich on fatigued legs, the more they can be beat.
