When an owner uses AI ... Topic

We have an owner who has used AI since 12/20, and more recently has been checking in infrequently. The major-league team is 12-44.

I sent him a site mail suggesting it might be time to relinquish the team.

Am I being reasonable?

'twas the holiday season. However, sounds like a tankjob, errrr, rebuilding season.

Isn't .250 the standard laid out by Admin? That win percent is .182, so you are being entirely reasonable.

If he's a long-term owner who's never been a problem, then you owe him a chance to explain himself, but if he's new you should initiate the process for replacing him.

I have a replacement ready to go, and contacted the owner via trade chat and site mail.

But I can't do much more unless he fails to show up for 10 days, right?

15 days.

The problem with the .250 standard laid out by Admin is that it suports the idea that, if an owner is winning at anything over a .250 clip, he's somehow *not* tanking.

15 days? Did they change that?

Several seasons ago, when I wasn't commish, there was an owner who showed up once or twice a week all season. Team won maybe 50 games, but the minors were trashed with 0 (0) guys. Owner was asked not to return the following season -- but there wasn't much that could be done during the season, because he never fully abandoned the team.

Open a ticket. We got 2 teams booted this year in our league by Admin for the same thing.
