i wanted to post this for anybody considering picking up a d2 team. if you are looking for a challenge, and a level of competition you can leverage to take your game to the next level, please consider the GLV of d2 tark! it is the top conference in the world, and holds two of the top 7 spots on mr polos greatest rpi of all time list. the group of coaches is an excellent one, friendly and engaged. we made spot 6/7 on the greatest list last season with 3 sims. one of those spots will fill next season, a coach with the potential to field top 10 teams season in and season out is taking 1 season with a d3 team to join us. so we need two more people looking to do the same!

i am on a mission to help tark's GLV become the best d2 conference in any world. it is the conference where i grew from a rookie all the way to where i am now, and it has always been great fun, with excellent competition - and i want to make sure it stays that way! so a GLV membership comes with as much advice and guidance as you care to have. not just limited to your d2 tark team, questions on any other teams you have and theoreticals are welcome too. come join us, help take the conference to the next level! we already have seasons like 3 1 seeds, in-house game for the NT title, etc. (including the majority of the last 13 national titles) so i am not sure exactly what the next level is - i suspect it includes many more spots on mr polos greatest rpi of all time list. but help us get there anyway :)

Billyg, I am would possibly consider moving up to your league. I am still not the best coach out there though. I just joined into tark this season in Iowa Central D3.

I will keep ya in mind for next season.

that would be great! one of the assets of the league is the competition and helpfulness of the coaches facilitates new coaches getting better, fast. so we are looking for anybody who is enthusiastic about the game, regardless of how little experience they may have :)

Just bought into Tark so as to join you guys in a year. Looking forward to it.

I've had some success but seem to have plateaued and want to try out some new things among smart, supportive coaches.

excellent! the #1 thing i can do for a coach is to pass on my approach, and broaden their horizons. this sounds perfect for you - no doubt the broadening of your horizons will get you over the plateau you have reached.
