Will arb loss affect ratings? Topic

Players often take demotions hard, and lose rating points. What about an arb case? If they lose in arbitration will they lose ratings and/or just not play as well? I've always either given my players what they wanted, signed long-term, or released them, but I finally have a case I may lowball if it won't adversely affect him. Thank you.

Contract status, including arb wins/losses, have no effect on ratings or performance.

But if your guy loses arb a couple of times, it may affect his willingness to sign with you LT in the future.
