I just got this email

"Coach, Willie Patton just got his SAT results back. Based on his GPA, he needed a composite score of 840 to meet the WCAA Clearinghouse requirements but he scored a 728. I'll let you know if I hear anything else."

What happens if he doesn't meet the requirements? Can i not get the player?

You can still get him, he is just ineligible.

At D3, this means nothing, he just will need a lot of study hall minutes to maintain a 2.0, but can play right away.

At D2/D1 he has to sit out his first year and then he can play as a sophomore. Also a chance he decides last minute that he does not want to sit and would rather play Juco ball.
