i currently have 5 int'l players on my squad. are there any pros or cons to the int'l players?

The only con is that you can't scout them for potential.

Do Sims recruit internationals as if they were 250 miles away, or is some other distance used for the internationals?

I believe they pay the same as everyone else.

The biggest problem is still the language. You have to listen to stuff like "Me no him foul, ref lie" for 4 years.
