Maybe minor but I could see some getting pretty ****** off by it.

Included in the new tiebreakers regarding FAs and maximum contract offers ($110m, no-trade, player option) is the quality of coaching, among others.

FA bidding starts before coach hiring. Does this give a big, big advantage to teams who had the option of re-hiring their coaches? Seems like a bit of a flaw to me and an unnecessary one.

Most players who are going to get multiple max offers aren't going to sign until coach hiring is over.
