Neutral park.

By taking your home park out of the equation and just building a solid, well-rounded team, you lessen your exposure to changes in the game engine (such as the recent power reduction).

Doesn't matter. I'm King of HBD. I can build a winner anywhere(but only a WS winner in Vegas).

Quit checking out my package.

FWIW, I'd recommend n00bs use slight pitching parks. Makes it easier to figure out defense and pitching fatigue. Also helps keep games closer while you learn.

After you play for awhile, it doesn't really matter.

Was that during the Vegas world series parade? No more championships for you.

My long time teams have been in pitchers parks. I'm considering switching one of my teams to a more hitter friendly park, so I'm curious as to how hitters parks can affect a team.

That was a good day. Until the mead ran out, and iain scared the wenches away with his gayness.

I like the park that is both. Kansas City suppresses home runs and enhances base hits. Best for a good defensive speedy team with fly ball pitchers. And you can use it in any division

As a first-time user I played in Montreal (a hitter's park) and it drove me nuts. That was probably an awful idea since I quickly learned that I (like most newbies and even many veterans) really had no concept of how pitching worked. I switched to a neutral park and after some growing pains I've become much happier there. It's a lot less infurating to see your pitching or hitting stats suffer due to the type of park you're in-- playing on a neutral field just lets you build a solid all-around team.

The other good thing about playing in a neutral park is it lets you change team philosophies in an instant. If you play in a hitter's park and you realize your team is going to be heavy on pitching and defense given the guys in your system, you're sort of screwed (unless you change parks every year which I think is really sleazy). With a neutral park you can just take whatever type of team fate gives you and build it into a winner.

I know I disagree with this. YOU acquire your players. Fate doesn't really play into it.
