All-American award helps get kid drafted? Topic

Does being named to A-A team help a kid get drafted? Any way to quantify this? And am I right in thinking the draft occurs on the morning new coach signups begin? Thx

You are correct that it occurs right before new coach signups

as far as AA's. this is just a guess, but i would say no. they use almost the exact same criteria, so in my opinion it would be too much of an overlap

Thx polo. So what's the consensus on the criteria for being drafted? Ratings matter the most then stats? I remember there was a thread quite a few months ago that looked at factors affecting EE, but I haven't had to be too concerned with all this before so i don't know what may apply to kids in general getting drafted.
