I am curious to see if there are many interested in a league like this. I want to start a franchise league. Somewhere between $100 and $120 mil. No Red Sox or Yankees franchises. Who's interested?

U can name 3 franchise leagues that are 100, 110, 120M already ... However, if somebody was to start a new live stats franchise league at 100M ...

I'd be interested nhohm. Two questions: would there be AAA, and more importantly would it just be first-come, first-serve on franchises? If franchises can only be used once or twice, it will be tough to get more than 16 owners in. Regardless of the cap (and even without Boston/NYY), it's pretty hard for the Brewers, Indians, Royals etc. to compete with the Dodgers, Cardinals, Phillies etc.

What if we did an $80 mil league? No Red Sox or Yankees franchises allowed. One instance of each team. It seems like any team could compete on this level($80 mil). How does that sound?

That would work. I'd be in that, with or without AAA.

Any other takers? I would probably include AAA.
