Dont think I have run into this before. How do Mutual options work? I have a guy with a mutual option this year (we just rolled over) and he is showing up in my free agent report but not my option report. Does this mean he has declined his option?

Yes.

Shouldnt I have gotten an email or something? Maybe I will submit that as a bug..

No bug. That's just how the options work. With the mutual option, the player decides first. If he doesn't decline the option, you are given the option to accept or decline the option.

If the player declines the option, does he still get that 25% payout? I am assuming he does.

If the player declines, he gets nothing.

If he's good enough, he could get a Type A/B designation.

Check the player's Transactions. You should see "declined option", or something like that, on the rollover date.

I understand he gets the option first, but I was just curious how you get notified about everything else but not this. I thought it would make sense to at least get an email from his agent or something saying he has declined the option.
