The only thing that's really appealing is the LP/PE combo. However, not too fond on his ath/spd/bh. Basically, I need to know if this guy is going to be a scorer.

Not in my admittedly limited experience with D2 SFs. I've actually found it goes the other way. High ath/spd guys with little lp/per are better scorers.

I wouldn't take my word for it, just my experience.

What kind of offense?

flex

I would pass. Not enough sp/ath.

DOn't know. If you can wait until his senior year, he might be respectable at SF by then, but I'm not sure he has enough ATH/SPD until then. Usually in a SF I want, personally, at least one of the two high. If I can get both and at least one other rating high, I jump.

Which is more important for a SF for scoring? Athleticism or speed? Wouldn't ball handling play a major component as well?

jump on him, put all your money into him. hehehehe, just kidding with you. He is a little low for my liking I would at least like to see high in his ATH/SPD if he is that low.

For me it depends: If you mean for him to score low post, a high Athleticism seems to do it for me. If he is a perimeter SF, then SPeed. I like ones that have both, but then there are allot of things I like I have trouble finding.

Thanks everyone, I will probably go with another option. Even at D-2 it doesn't appear the SF's are very good.

Average potential has a wide range of improvement from 7-20. It's the unknowns with average potential that make me overly cautious. You're lucky to find high potential in 2 of the 5 categories between speed/athleticism/low post/perimeter and ball handling. I know with high potential, I'm guaranteed a big gain even if it's on the low end.

FOr me? The absolute floor is around eighty total points between both Speed and Athleticism. For example, fifty.thirty one or the other would work. I could accept a sixty twenty one way or the other in the right circumstances.

With a B prestige and in knight which is empty as hell you could find better options out there.

Ya also in knight sometimes you can really wait until the day after signing starts then use your cash to your advantage to go after the guys with no one recruiting them. Sometimes you really can get some great guys this way. I snapped up a 162 ranked SG for about $1500 last season the day after signing started.

In the flex I'd definately rather have a better perimeter speed combination. Its always to have a nice combination of the PER and LP skills but I only run flex and the best SFs always have good shooting. Too bad this guy has bad rebounding and defense. Could have made an ideal flex PF.
