BEfore a draft when you read a players profile and it says he probably won't sign what are the chances of him signing? 50/50?

I'm guessing less than 25 percent, but that's just a guess.

If it says he probably won't sign, he probably won't. I've heard that if his adviser is his mom instead of an agent, he'll be even less likely (but I'm not sure whether that's true). I generally try not to draft those guys in the first place, but once I was in a bad draft so I decided to get a "probably won't sign guy" and take the comp pick. His adviser was his mom and I drafted him 3rd overall. Sure enough, he decided not to sign and I took the comp pick.

I know of only one case where a guy represented by his Mom signed (in more that 50 drafts). If self represented, most (90%) of the time they wont sign. If the player has a professional agent working for him, he actually probably will sign, but he will also demand a big increase over his orginal demand.

Personally, I just love the idea of some one going to college rather than signing. How much do you figure a degree is worth, because it isn't worth seven figures in your pocket right now.

Hey, it happens every year. Rangers' #14 overall pick last year passed on $4m because he liked TCU that much (and, apparently, also because his Mom "prayed on it" and God told her not to take less than $7m). That's what Type D picks are for!
