Type A/B free agents Topic

Is there a way to project if one of your players will be a type A or B free agent at the end of the year? I think there is some sort of formula MLB uses that is based off the last 2 years but I could be wrong???

It's based on OVR by position group. Check last year's Type As and Bs as a reasonably accurate guide.
