Recruiting in Crum just started. Anyway, I coach a D3 team and have been for many seasons as some of you know. My question is in regard to something I noticed that I have never seen before. One of the players I was looking at (would have been a D2 pulldown for me) was already considering a team BEFORE the 1st recruiting cycle. Now I have seen this with a SIM coached team before, but never for a team with a human coach, and the team he was considering BEFORE the 1st recruiting cycle was for a D2 team with a human coach. Is this normal or is there maybe something a bit "odd" about this?

This happens if the guy went to juco after considering that school last year. If he was a D2 player he was most likely an ineligible.

Yep, this is very common in D2/D1 for players with 3 years of eligibility . If you recruit an ineligible at D2/D1 and he doesn't come to school, most of the time he will still be considering you the following recruiting period as a Juco1.

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked back in on the guy though and he has 4 YEARS OF ELIGIBILITY . He is considering Charleston in D2 Crum. WTF?
