What is the most u can sign a FA for? I believe its 20 mil for 5 years and 10mil bonus. Is there anything else u can do to sweeten the deal so the player will sign with your team?

You could add a player option and a no trade clause.

I still think it increases the perceived value of the contract for the player whether or not they "care" about it.

This thread would indicate otherwise.

There, an owner who did *not* offer the NTC beat out two owners who did (all 3 going max contract w/ player option), so a NTC is - at best - meaningless unless the player asks for it. (This has been confirmed by CS, but the better proof is what actually happened.)
