Keeping a player on DL - reprocussions? Topic

If I don't have a roster spot on the ML team and a guy is about to be eligible to come off the DL but he is out of minor league options, do I face any reprocussions of keeping him on the DL even after he is healthy, waiting for a spot to open up due to either dropping one of my ML guys with options back to the minors or a guy gets injured?

I agree that there will be no repercussions...maybe a slight reprocussion but I'm not entirely sure.
