21 year old 3 year pro but got hit hard with the injury bug this year. we're 72 games in and he's made just 4 starts, being put on the DL twice already (on the 60 day DL now, may miss the rest of the year)

He was a 72 ovr when the season began, and he's already dropped down to a 69 and might not see any more action this year.

any chance he'll come anywhere near reaching his 84 ovr projection despite this injury setback and being a 3 year pro already?

That 40-something health rating is always going to be like a big hammer, knocking him backwards.

I say: wait until he's healthy, trade him to somebody who's going to be blinded by his projections while overlooking his health rating, and let him become somebody else's problem.

As a person who's been on the 'DOH!' end of that hypothetical trade a couple times... it sure works.

He is young enough and his makeup is high enough that he'll recover. If he is an 84 OVR with that health, its likely that he'll be a filthy stud Ace if he can stay healthy. If someone is willing to pay top dollar for him, consdier trading him. But aces are damn hard to come by and since the only knocks on the guy are the health and the three pitches, you might want to hang onto him and gamble.

What are his projections?

projections are nice.

78sta, 95con, 85/83, 90vel, 92/77/55 pitches

That health rating will leave him on the 60-day every two or three seasons. I'd deal him for a healthier A prospect if possible; if not, keep him around until he becomes expensive and then get what you can for him.
