can you sign TWO nonqualifiers in DI? Topic

Can you sign two nonqualifiers? Can two enroll? I have never tried, but was wondering whether it is possible

I signed 2 last year but only one enrolled. Not sure if that was due to any limit or if the one player would have goen to JC not matter what.

I pretty sure you can only have 1

I haven't seen any rule to say it isn't.

I am sure I have never seen a rule or a statement in a dev chat, but I wonder whether the algorithm that determines whether they enroll makes it impossible or unlikely or something that two enroll.....

I have tried several times and have only been able to enroll one everytime, Srunstro also told me the year I tried to sign 2 non qualifiers that only 1 would sign but the following year all your credit you had put towards the recruit would stay and you would have a great chance of signing him the following year because most likely he wil already be leaning towards your school because of the previous credit

True on the 1st point. I have never seen 2 enroll no matter how much I tried.

Incorrect on your second point. Not even half of your "effort" will apply for the next recruiting season and the distance away from the recruit will change. You will need to be EXTREMELY lucky to be able to sign a recruit who went JUCO the season before. Run a search for the post titled "Bruce Eanes" for a good example.

Pork - I get exactly where you are coming from with only the 25% effort but I wonder if anything is different when you sign 2 and 1 goes JuCo, only because of the funky "No 'Ships, 100% carryover" rule it wouldn't surprise me if TK had coded something like this in there as well.

Let me add some additional information related to my experience. I signed two ineligibles this year which let me use up all open scholarships during recruiting so that I was able to carryover 25 percent of the money that was over. Only oneof the ineligibles ended up on the roster. For the player that didnot enroll, he is showing up on my recruiting list with all of the recruiting dollars still showing up on the list of efforts done. The only bad thongs is that he isno longer a local recruit.

Right. Thats how it works. He showed up on your list with a $ amount. That amount is only worth like 25% as before though. So he will be considering you at the start of recruiting but will be easily poached by another team who is local. Screw ineligibles man. Coded for failure.
