I run a full court press defense, which should lead to more turnovers.

1. Would running a fast tempo offense lead to easier, quicker baskets off the turnovers from the press (if I ran normal or slow, would that mean that my offense wouldnt try for quick baskets off turnovers)?

2. What happens in the half court when running the FCP?

1. No, if the opportunity for transition baskets off of turnovers is there, your offense will take advantage of it, even if you don't do a fast-paced offense.
2. Same thing continues - you'll keep forcing more turnovers, but you'll also potentially be prone to more layups inside and more open looks from outside. That's why I like matching a press defense with at least one shot-blocker inside and one ace defender on the perimeter.
