No, that is an odd loss. I've been crushed in the NT before by I similar rated team, but it wasn't for the title, as I've never made it that far. The only stat you got the better of him was in personal fouls.......ouch!

On a positive note, at least you made it to the title game.

Ask your oppenent KKyutzy what happened in his fist national championship game in D3 smith with suffolk :) Probably his worst loss ever. If you had it set to give back ups more playing timein a blow out that could have contributed to it being such a one sided game when he got up a little the engine might have put your young guys in and it could just snow ball from there

IIRC, I think that we had a 60 point loss at one time and it may have involved Rails or he seemed to mention it a lot.

I lost by 50+ in the only national title game I ever made. I knew I was going to get destroyed, I was a 7 seed, and a legit 7 seed at that playing against by far the best team in D2 that season.

I had an unbeaten season going a while back and was the defending national champion when I lost the title game by 41. Funny thing is I won the title as a 14 seed the season before.

Yes cyric, kky did lose to Westminster in Div III by like 75 points. If I remember it was something like 150-75.

Sorry gbous314, but I figured win or lose we were going for broke. As previously mentioned my first season (Suffolk,Smith) I made it to the Finals and actually lost to kendrik2 (Hampten-Sidney) by about 79 pts.

Haha well played yutzy. Alright well that makes me feel slightly better about getting shalacked in the finals.

I vaguely remember that! Now it's coming back. 80-20! 20 points as the #1 team in the country losing to a team we had beat by 20 at their place earlier in the season.

I don't have the box score but I remember losing in the Div I NC game in Tark and FTs were like 45 attempts for the winning team and 9 for my team (not exact numbers but you get the drift).
