Does any one ever use this during recruiting? If so, what is this for, and how much effort does this get the recruit to consider you? It always cost a rediculous $1500 and I never use it. It seems like a waste.

I never have, but I did do the psychologist's opinion once and found out that the guy was a psycho, and he still didn't sign with me.

I wish HD would add more stuff that would make scince to recruiting. All those other ones seem like a waste of money for window dressing.

I agree, its almost too cute for its own good, and moreover, its misleading, because you don't know how that $1500 equates to a HV or a CV or any other equivalent.

its for finding out if a player will take boosters w/o ratting on you I use them occasionally. I dont feel it has any value or if so very little. The psych evals will not tell you from what ive seen if a player will take boosters w/o telling only the personality test

I think this is from back when there were dilemnas. Like when you get random comments from your AD being upset about you signing a recruit, they just haven't removed it. Although I'm guessing that this would have some value at D1 in order to find out how likely somebody is to leave early.

they opinions may help wit ee's but the evals help with booster

Yeah but 1500 dollars is pretty steep when it has no recruiting advantage. Thats the highest price on the menu. that should be like 200 or so when it does not have any value.

i don't think it is over from dilemnas. i think there are 2 applications of personality tests, checking how a guy might react to boosters, and how he might handle leaving for the NBA. i believe there is 0 considering credit from these tools. i don't have a team recruiting right now, but im pretty sure that's what it says when you do a personality test (you can try one, and it prompts you to make sure you are sure - so you can hit no, but still see the exact message. worth doing it once just to see what WIS says about them)

Plus now you can withdraw recruiting effort if it hasn't passed the next cycle and been replied to.

Trying to figure out if you meant sense, since or science.

It is not over from dilemmas, although it likely would have played a role in them, it has its uses now but only at D1. I have used them in the past and continue to use them. They are not a waste of money.

Then why is it even in the game?...what a waste of WISbucks. Shouldn't all recruiting be meaningful?

Go figure, you missed every single point brought up in this thread so far. It has a lot of meaning to recruiting.

(Fail, once again, on your part for not understanding HD, yet speaking as if you do)
