a) What kind of name is Schnakenberg?

b) I think you're fine playing Rayes there - he'll make the rest of your team better. But Schnakenwhatever has the IQ, REB, you name it, and the other two make more sense as a post and a guard.

c) So play Schnakenfurter at the 3.

I agree with Mr. Schnakenberg and let the other 2 play as depth. He can't score, but plays a role limiting TOs and rebounding.

I think Benjamin is the 3rd option at SF of those 3. I'd go with the PG if you have plenty of REB at PF and C simply because of his SPD, ATH, P, and BH. Especially if he's not going to be a scoring option, his P and BH would greatly help out whoever is going to be your scoring options. A close 2nd would be Ardoin. Go with him if you need REB help. His LP rating alone makes him better than Benjamin. But again, I'd go with the PG>

Schadenfreude is a good compromise - decent REB, PAS, ATH and SPD, best IQ. How much will the positional difference impact the PG?

Rayes and it is not even close IMO. Your other 2 post players have less then great DEF but are excellent rebounders. Reyes is your best option at the 3 because of his DEF and the type of DEF that you play (Zone/Press). His lack of REB will not hurt your team much at all due to your starting bigs.

Oh wait, I did not realize that your two best bigs are not starting. No way in hell Durr should be starting over Hern or Beals. Your best starting 5 is:

PG - Martino
SG - Unvarsky
SF - Rayes
PF - Hern
C - Beals

With that line up I would be dissapointed with anything less then a final 4.

i like that he is starting durr. gets him some PT, gets his ratings and iq up. in the post season, of course, he should go back to backup. but he is benefiting from the PT a lot more than those others guys, i say its a smart move.

Yeah, Durr shouldn't be starting but he's got some pretty amazing potential. And pretty bad work ethic to go with it. I had to promise Durr a start to get him and that helped build the work ethic. But he went to the bench for the conference championship game before I stared this thread and he was going to be coming off the bench in the NT.

Thanks for the thoughts thus far and if anybody else wants to offer their $0.02 ....

Actually, if you're still reading this thread porkpower, do you think Unvarsky as SG is a no-brainer? I've been playing Martino at SG and Unvarsky at PG.

I suspect you're thinking that the very good athleticism and above average ball handling should make him a good threat. But four years of stats would argue otherwise.

ATH + IQ trumps PER IMO.
