I was recruiting currently in Wooden after one player and had a question. Basically say me and another team are going after the same player and we both have exactly $200. We both give 10 phone calls and a scholarship. However, I give everything to the recruit in the very first cycle, and the other team spreads it out through the cycles. Do either of us have an advantage?

The answer has some layers to it.

If the player is already considering both teams, then it's equal. If a player is consireing one team only, then some time during the second day there is a considering credit that starts to kick in, and stops when the recruit starts considering team #2 as well.

ok i get what you are saying. Another question though. Say you give all ten phone calls at once, along with the scholarship. You said that considering credit may kick in. Do you have to give some sort of recruiting effort in order for the recruit to become more likely to sign with you? or do you automatically get a bonus or something for being on his considering list?
