Athleticism, speed ratings 20 points lower on Ohio team vs G'town. They shoot 57% from field, 56% from three, outrebounds higher rated REB club.

No way this happens, the engine is borked.

Cool, except the creator of HD obviously agrees that the current HD engine isn't good because he is making a new one.

Maybe real life should make a new engine too.

I *like* the real life engine. Please leave it alone.

But the results aren't realistic! Matchups and ratings don't seem to mean anything. If this keeps up, I'll quit watching, as soon as my seasons run out.

I think the seedings are jacked.

IMO, the problem is that this is the first time since 2006 that a team seeded 14 or higher has won in RL. In HD, you would be hard pressed to go 2 seasons in D1 without seeing such a feat.

However, in HD< those teams are able to recruit better than their real life couterparts and the difference between 14 and three is going to be less by nature. . .so the upsets are going to be more common by nature.

Purdue only scored 11 points in a half vs. Minnesota. And lost to the Gophers by 27 after beating them by 19. I agree....the engine is broken

That's not a problem. It's a purposeful difference between how HD is set up vs. RL. In HD, there is simply a lot more parity, and that's by design. The talent differential between 2/3 and 14/15 in real life is enormous; in HD, on the whole it's not nearly as large. Thus, as expected, you see more lower seeds winning than in real life.
